Editorial policy of Aqualogue
Principles
- A piece of content answers a real reader question, with no filler.
- Tying important claims (figures, dates, thresholds, rules) to a cited source is an editorial goal; sources are added over time.
- What we do not know, or what is disputed, is said plainly.
Sources
We favour primary and official sources (public bodies, reference organisations, regulations, published studies). Sources are added over time. Spotted a mistake? Write to [email protected]; the corrections process is described below.
Use of artificial intelligence
Content is written with the help of AI tools, then reviewed by the publisher (Billy Berthod). No fictitious author or expert is put forward, and no professional opinion is simulated.
Updates
When an article’s substance is reviewed, a last-updated date is shown; it changes only then. No article currently shows an update date distinct from its publication. To flag stale information, use the corrections process below.
Corrections
Spotted a mistake? Write to [email protected] with the page concerned. A confirmed error is fixed promptly and the update date is changed.
Advertising and commercial links
The site shows advertising (Google AdSense), kept apart from the content and labelled. We do not publish sponsored or affiliate links without saying so clearly, and an advertiser can neither commission nor review an article.
